Greetings from your friendly, neighborhood webmaster! It's been a pleasure maintaing this web site for the past 22 months, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. I am becoming busier with my freelance web business, and so the band's drummer, Nicky "No Shoes" Crano, has taken over the upkeep and maintenance of this web site.

Below is the story of how I came to create this web site as a school project. Thank you to all the friends of Jill West and Blues Attack for all the positive feedback I've received for this web site! I'm so glad I was able to help bring you the blues! :-)

August 2002

I first approached the band in the Spring of 2000, as a student of Multimedia and Web Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I asked if they were willing to be the "subject" for one of my school projects...and the rest, as they say, is history.

I created an interactive CD-ROM about the band using Macromedia Director, but the project files were too large to use as a web site. So, the web site project was put on hold...until after graduation.

In June of 2002, I graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and finally had time to create the site. It is with great pleasure and pride that I present to you...the BRAND NEW JILL WEST AND BLUES ATTACK web site, which made its world debut on August 6, 2002!

After more than 2 years in the planning stages, it's exciting to this project come to life!
I hope you will enjoy this site, and find it FUN and INFORMATIVE!
